Abstract：The effctivetreatmentand resourceutilizationof rural domestic sewageare important links in promoting rural revitalizationandachieving sustainable development.Shandong provinceisanimportant economic，cultural，andpopulous province in China，but itfaces thesevere challnge of relativelyscarce waterresources，which highlightstheurgencyof treating rural domestic sewage and promoting resourceutilization.Thecomprehensive investigation is conducted on the treatmentofrural domesticsewage inShandong province，systematicallsummarizing the typical ideas，treatmentproceses， and treatment effects of rural domestic sewage treatment，and proposing targeted optimization strategies to provide methodologicalreferences forrural domesticsewage treatmentinotherregions.Overall，intheprocessofruraldomestic sewage treatment，itis necessaryto follow the principleofadapting measures to localconditions，establishand improve management and protection systems，and increase publicity efforts.
