Abstract: To investigate thetechnical pathway for upgrading sewage treatment plants underlow-carbon,highnitrogen, and high phosphorus water qualityconditions,this study explores thecombined application of Moving-Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR)oxidation ditch and deep treatment processes,analyzing the operational efectiveness of a three-stage control strategy comprising“biological enhancement (MBBR media addition) + chemical synergy (high-efficiency sedimentation tank) + deep filtration (denitrification deep-bed filter).Results indicate that post-upgrade efluent massconcentrations of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), NH 3 -N, Total Nitrogen (TN),and Total Phosphorus (TP) averaged 45,1.2, 12,and 0.3mg/L ,respectively,consistently meting Grade 1A discharge standards.The operating cost percubic meter of water was reduced to O.85 yuan,and the oxygen utilization rate was increased to 25% :
