Abstract： Against thebackdropof global forts toaddressclimatechange and vigorously promotecarbondioxide emissions reduction，Chinashoulders theresponsibilityofamajorcountryandactivelypromotestheconstructionofacarbonmarket. As a pilot area for carbon emissions trading， Guangdong province adopts the Monitoring， Reporting，and Verification （MRV） system inthecarbon market.The constructionof Guangdong province'scarbon market，MRV system，and practical achievementsare elaborated，and the prospects isproposed for theconstructionofGuangdong province'scarbon market， which can provide reference for the construction of other carbon trading pilot MRV systems.
