Abstract： Mineral resources are crucial for economic development，but their extraction and utilizationcan lead to environmental polutionandecologicaldamage.How toutilize mineral resources ina cleanerand more eficient maer， thereby achieving coordinated development between the economyand environmental protection，constitutes acritical practical challenge for western China.Based on this context，this paper analyzes the inherent logic of coordinated development between‘high-quality mining and refined processing”and ecological conservation， while proposing relevant countermeasures.
