Abstract: Takinglowcost,easytooperate,andecologicallbeneficialartificial wetlandsasthersearchoject,tisstudy systematicallysortsouttheirpurification mechanisms,systemtypes,andtheremoval eficiencyofdiferentwetland type for conventional polutants.Theresearch results indicate thatartificial wetlands mainlyremove Suspended Solids (S)through physical processes, Total Phosphorus (TP) and ammonia nitrogen (NH 3 -N) through chemical processes,and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)and Total Nitrogen (TN) through biological processes; Diferent types of wetlands are adapted to diferentiated scenarios,among which composite wetlands can achieve efficiencyoptimization through combination. This studycan provide technical support fortheenginering application of artificial wetlands inthe deep purificationof wastewater from sewage treatment plants.
