Abstract： The construction of “Zero-Waste Cities”is both akey measure to promotethe synergyof polutionand carbon reduction，andan intrinsic requirement forachieving thegoal of buildinga Beautiful China.Taking Chengdu cityas an example，this study analyzes the current status of progressevaluationand environmentalimpact asessment in the“ZeroWaste City”initiative.Basedontheidentified issues，itproposes countermeasures forestablishingsynergistic mechanisms.
