Abstract: Duringthe waste rubber recycling process,substantial Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)are generated during the mixing,open-millrefining,and vulcanization stages.This paper systematically investigates the VOCs emission characteristics in waste rubber recycling,analyzes key influencing factors on VOCs emisions,and conductsdevelopment and application evaluation of VOCscontrol technologies.Research has shown that the peak VOCs mass concentration in the mixing stage can reach 298mg/m3 . The VOCs emissions during open-mill refining are primarily influenced by process parameters such as roller speed and roller gap, while sulfur-containing VOCs account for 15% ~ 20% of emissions in the vulcanization stage.
