Abstract： Xiangcheng districtofSuzhou cityis locatedinthenorthofthecentralurbanareaofSuzhou city，with Yangcheng Laketo the eastand the TaihuLake to the west，itis knownas the“Water PhaseCity”，while enjoying the opportunities of integrateddevelopmentof theYangtzeRiverDelta，italsobears greater pressureonecological environmentprotection. At present，the water ecological environment protection in Xiangcheng district stillfaces problems such as unstable water qualityinsectionsand high total phosphorus inlakes.Scientificsuggestions are putforward to address the main problems in the water environmentof Xiangcheng district，inorder to provide ideas forthe comprehensive managementof water environment in Xiangcheng district.
