Research on Energy-Saving and Carbon Reduction Technologies for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants

Abstract: Inthe context ofglobal climate change,urbansewage treatment plants,as majorenergy consumers and important sources ofcarbon emissions in drainage systems,have particularly important research and application of energy-saving andcarbon reduction technologies.This paper summarizes the main technological paths for energy conservation and carbon reduction incurrnt urbansewage treatment plants,including equipmentoptimization, processupgrading,energy recovery, andresourceutilization.Through theoretical analysis,data comparison,and practical examples,thispaper explores the carbonreductionefectsandapplicationprospectsofvarious technologies,aiming toprovidetechnicalsupportand practical references for the sewage treatment industry to achieve carbon neutrality goals.
