Abstract: Under the backdrop ofthe“dual carbon” strategy promoting resource cycling and green transformation,the eficientrecoveryofstrategic metalssuchasplatinum,palladium,andgoldhasbecomeacriticallinkinalleviatingrsource constraints and supporting the development of low-carbon industries.Global primary mineral resources are increasingly strained,particularlyas China’seserve-to-productionratioforprecious metalsfalssignificantlybelowthe worldaverage, urgently necessitating the developmentof eficientsecondaryresourceregenerationtechnologies.This paper systematically reviews the characteristics,applicable conditions,and development trendsof diferent hydrometalurgical separation technolgies,while providing prospects forthe future separationand recoveryof rare and precious metals in the fieldof hydrometallurgy.Itholds significant strategic importanceforachievingthe sustainablecycling ofcritical metalresources and transitioning towards a low-carbon economy.
