Research Status of Recovering Ruthenium from Secondary Resources Containing Ruthenium

Abstract:Ruthenium isastrategic metalresource,anditseficientrecovery isof greatsignificancefor ensuringresource security and promoting sustainabledevelopment.A systematic review is conducted on the research progress of secondary resource recovery technology containing ruthenium,with afocuson analyzing the characteristics and applications of various technologies inthe“dissolution-enrichment”processsystem.Inthedissolution process,theaciddissolution methodachieves the leaching of ruthenium through a strong oxidizing medium,whilethealkali melting methodutilizes high-temperature melting to transform insoluble materials.In theenrichment processtheoxidation distilation methodis mature andhasahighrecoveryrate,and precipitation method,solventextraction method,metal displacementmethodand adsorption method provide diversifiedchoices fordiferent appication scenarios.Research shows that existing technologies havetheirownuniquefatures,butfurtheroptimizationis stillneeded in terms of green environmental protectionand energy consumptioncontrol.Inthefuture,itisnecessarytosrengthen technological integrationandinovation,andpromotehe sustainable development of ruthenium resource recycling technology.
