Abstract: Therapid development of digital technology provides an importantbreakthrough forsolving the dynamic andcomplex problems in water resources monitoring and management.This paper systematicall explores the practical advantages of digital technologiessuchasthe InternetofThings,bigdata,andartificial inteligenceinwaterquality and quantity monitoring,resourcescheduling decision-making,and regionalcollaborative management,and reveals the improvement mechanism of technology application ondata real-time performance,decision-making scientificity,and governance synergy.On this basis,strategies such as strengthening the layout of key water source points,scientifically combining digital technologies,and dynamicalyadjusting the technical monitoring system are proposed to provide a theoretical basis for improving the intelligent management system of water resources.
