Application Research on Rainwater and Sewage Diversion Renovation Technology in Old Residential Areas

Abstract: Withtheaccelerationof urbanization in China,the transformationofurbanrainwaterandsewage diversion has become a key measure to improve urban qualityand enhance the living environment.The problem ofrainwater and sewage merging in old residentialareas is significant,with some sewage being discharged into natural water bodies along withthe waterflow,leading toenvironmentalpollution.Atthe same time,alarge amount of rainwaterflows intotheconfluence pipe, significantly increasing the treatment pressure ofdownstream sewage treatment plants.The necesityofrain and sewage diversionrenovationisanalyzedinoldresidentialareas,and thenthe appicationstrategies are proposedforrainandsewage diversionrenovation technology inoldresidential areas.Theseparate colection and treatment of rainwaterand sewage using rainwaterandsewage diversion technologycan efectivelysolve the pollution problemoftraditionalcombined sewersystems on water bodies,and enhance urban flood control and drainage capabilities.
