Abstract：With theincreasing global atention toclimatechange，China isactivelypromoting theachievementof carbon peak and carbonneutrality goals.Inthiscontext，carbon verification and polutant discharge permit management have become important means of environmental governance.Their integrated application is of great significance for improving regional environmental management eficiencyand promoting green and low-carbon development.Selecting Nansha district，Guangzhoucityastheresearcharea，theconnectionandapplicationstatusofcarbonverificationresultsinpollutant discharge permit management andoptimization strategies are analyzed，with the aimof providingtheoreticalsupport and practicalreference forimproving regional environmental management systemsand promotingcollaborativeeffciency in polutionreductionand carbon reduction.Research has shown that there has been some progressintheconnection between carbon verificatioandpollutantdischargepermit managementin Nanshadistrict，buttherearechallengessuchasdificulty in dataintegration and incomplete management mechanisms，which need to be improved through measures such as data sharing and optimization of management processes.
