NewDiscoveres in“Great Bank of Guizhou” Tiankeng Cluster

Abstract: Basedonthe investigationandresearchofthe“greatbank ofGuizhou’sinkhole group,it was foundthatthere are 38 concentrated sinkholes within a 66km2 area at the border of Pingtang county and Luodian county. Through comparison and research,the“greatbankofGuizhou”sinkholegrouphas thecharacteristics oflargescale,concentrateddistribution, rich types,and multi-stage development.Itisthe most denselydevelopedarea inthe world’ssinkholegroupand also the largest sinkhole group in the world.It has high scientific research and tourism development value and provides basic information for the application of the“great bank of Guizhou”World Geopark in Guizhou province.
