Research on Recovery Process of Copper and Zinc from Anode Furnace Dust

Abstract: As one of the important by-products of the copper pyrometallurgical process,anode furnace dust contains valuable metal elementsuchsopper,lead,andinc,necesitatingitssourcercovery.Currentlydomalgical leaching is the mainstream method for recovering metals from copper smelting slag,particularlysulfuric acid leaching, which offersadvantagessuch asenvironmental friendliness and high recovery eficiency.Using anode furnacedustas the experimentalraw material,copper and zincare eficiently recovered through asulfuric acid leaching process under the action of anoxidant.The experiment primarilyinvestigates the efectsof oxidant dosage,sulfuricacid quantity,reaction temperature,and time on the leaching efficiencyofcopperand zinc.Theresults showthat under theoptimalconditions of a liquid-solid ratio of 4 1 , sulfuric acid dosage of 3O g, reaction time of 2.O h,hydrogen peroxide dosage of 6 mL, feeding amount of 50g ,and leaching temperature of 60‰ ,the copper leaching rate is 98.72% and the zinc leaching rate is (20 99.02% :
