Resource Recovery Process and Economic Analysis of Heavy Metals fromElectroplating Wastewater

Abstract:The wastewater generated bythe electroplating industry contains alarge amount of highlytoxic heavy metal ions,suchasopper,nickel,homm,andinc.If tsewastewateraredschargeddectlyiouttreament,itwillose a serious threat to the ecological environment and human health.Meanwhile,heavy metals in electroplating wastewater are also avaluable resource with extremely highrecycling value.The technical principles,applicationcharacteristics,and implementationefects ofresourcerecovery proceses suchasion exchange,membraneseparation,lectrochemicalmethods, and adsorption methodsare deeplystudied,andtheadvantagesof various processesareanalyzed inheavy metalrecovery eficiencyand economic benefits,thus providing reference forthe selection of heavy metal resource recovery technologies for electroplating wastewater.
