Defect detection of wind turbine connecting parts based on 3D phased array ultrasonic technology

Abstract:Asakeyconnecting component,the health status ofwind turbine bolts directlyafects thesafetyand stabilityof theunitoperation.Aimingattheproblems of traditional ultrasonic testing technologyinboltdefectdetection,such asmany blind spots,lowpositioningaccuracyand insuficient detection eficiency,this paperintroduces 3D phased arrayultrasonic nondestructive testing technology.By expounding thecore principle of this technology, detection scheme covering probe selection,coupling agent matching,parameter seting and scanning mode is designed,andthewholeprocessofdetectionimplementation isclarified.Finally,fivecommonwelddefectsareselected,and the eigenvalues of the image in four directions are extracted by means of gray level co-occurrence matrix. The average gray correlation degree is calculated and compared with the ultrasonic detection results.Experiments show that the accuracy of this method is more than 80% ,and the effect is ideal.

风力发电机组在运行过程中,会承受强风载荷、温度循环、振动冲击等复杂工况的影响,其关键部位的连接螺栓(如塔筒法兰螺栓、主轴连接螺栓、叶片根部螺栓等)易出现疲劳裂纹、应力腐蚀等缺陷。(剩余5888字)
