Optimization and safety assessment of old reconstruction and reinforcement technology of steel structure industrial plant

Abstract:Inviewof thesafety problems existing inthe stelstructureoftheold factorybuilding that has been in service for more than15 years in therelocationprojectof the158Ommhotrolling production line,through field testingand laboratorytesting,itisfoundthat the material propertiesare significantlydegraded(theaverage tensile strengthis 340MPa,which is lowerthanthe original designvalue of355MPa),and thedeflection deformationof key parts reaches L/250(exceeding the L/30 limit specified in GB 50017—2017).In this study,the material performance testand the finiteelement staticand dynamic analysis basedontheaccurate three-dimensional model are used to propose the local welding and joint optimization reinforcement scheme of high strength steel plate,and the segmented assembly welding process is applied.The scheme successully guided the reinforcement of more than 200 components,and the structural performance met the requirements of high vibration conditions.This study provides a systematic solution for similar industrial plant renovation.
