Effect of crosslinking agent on the properties of silicone sealant

Abstract: Using α,ω -dihydroxy polydimethylsiloxane,nano calcium carbonate,crossinking agent,silane coupling agent and organotin catalyst as raw materials,a one-component deketoxime silicone sealant was prepared.The effects of diferent crossinking agents used aloneand in combination on storage stabilityand mechanical properties were studied.The results showed thatthe cross-linking agents with diferent structures had diffrent effects on the storage stability and mechanical properties of silicone sealant.When methyltri-butanone oxime silane(D3O)was used alone,the performance of silicone sealant decreased after thermal aging,and the change rate was 170% . When LM10O was used as crosslinking agent alone,the storage change rate of the material after treatment was 58% ,the tensile strength was 2.27MPa ,and the elongation at break was 42% .When D30 and LM10O were used in a mass ratio of 3:2 ,and after thermal aging treatment,the storage change rate of the material was significantly reduced to (204 88% ,the tensile strength was increased to 2.4MPa ,and the elongation at break was increased to 445% . The comparative data show that the performance of thecompound system is beterthanthatof the single crosslinking agent system,showing more excellent comprehensive performance.
