Study on the corrosion resistance of copper-nickel alloy electrical materials with different contents

Abstract:Asan important electrical material,thecorrosionresistance ofcopper-nickel alloy directlyafects the safeoperationof electrical equipment.Thecorrosion behaviorofcopper-nickel alloy withdiferent nickel content in typical electrical environment was systematicaly studied by electrochemical test and environmental corrosion test. The results show thatthe increase of nickelcontentcan significantly improve the corosion resistance of the alloy, and the influence of acidic environment is the most serious.The mechanism analysis reveals that nickel plays a role by improving the stability of passivation film.
