Performance comparison test of microbial degradation technology in wastewater treatment

Abstract:Inorder to explore theremoval effciencyoforganic materand nitrogen pollutants bymicrobialdegradationtechnology in sewage treatment,this study systematicall analyzed the degradation rules of COD,TOC,NH -N and TN under diferent oxygen conditions byaerobic and anaerobic comparative experiments,with undecane as the characteristic pollutant and glucose as the composite carbon source.The results showed that oxygenas an electron acceptor could significantly improve the oxidation eficiencyof refractory organic mater,and theaerobic environment was more conducive to the degradation of organic mater.After 240 h,the removal rates of COD and TOC reached 43.08% and 46.88% ,respectively,which were significantly higher than those in anaerobic environment (17.66% and 22.50% ). The enrichment of denitrifying bacteria can effectively promote the conversion of ammonia nitrogen to nitrogen,and the removal rates of NH -N and TN are 50.06% and 45.84% ,respectively. This study can provide atheoretical basis foroptimizing thesewage treatment process,and hasacertain applicationprospect inthe synergistic removal of refractory organic matter and nitrogen pollution.
