Abstract： Objective： To analyze the monitoring data of salt iodine and urine iodine of pregnant women and children in Wulong district，Chongqing city from2019 to 2024，in order to evaluate the iodine nutrition status of pregnant women and children in this area and provide targeted basis for formulating prevention and control strategies for iodinedeficiency disorders.Method： A stratified random sampling method was used to select pregnant women and children as monitoring subjects in Wulong district， Chongqing city.The dataof salt iodine intakeand urine iodine excretion were collcted and analyzed by statistical methods.Result：The salt iodine intake of pregnant women and children in Wulong district， Chongqingcityhas generallyreachedanappropriate level，and themedianurine iodine is also within the normal range.Conclusion： The iodine nutrition status of pregnant women and children in Wulong district， Chongqing city is generally good.
