The Application of Traditional Chinese Culinary Techniques in Modern Healthy Diets

Abstract: Against the backdrop of residents’increasing pursuit of healthy diets, integrating traditional Chinese cooking techniques with modern healthy diet concepts has become an important direction forthe development of thecatering industry. Traditional Chinese cooking methods represented by steaming, stewing and quick stir-frying over high heat notonlyachieve nutrient retentionand dietary balance interms of technology,but alsoactivate the contemporary value of traditional wisdom from a cultural perspective,reshaping a new paradigm of healthy eating. However,the application of traditional Chinese cooking techniques in modern healthy diets is confronted with problems such as the lack of standardization,non-compliance with healthydiet requirements,and insufcient scene adaptability.Measures such as establishing a standardized system,improving traditional cooking techniques in a healthy way,and enhancing scene adaptability need to be taken to promote the healthy application of traditional Chinese cooking techniques in scenarios such as families,thecatering industry,and the food industry,and forma dietary system that combines both health and cultural attributes.
