Abstract: The neurointensive care unit in hospitals plays a vital role in the centralized monitoring, treatment, and nursingof critically ill patients. These patients, sufring fromsevere neurological diseases or injuries, are often extremely physically vulnerable with unstable vital signs, creating an urgent need for nutritional support and guaranteed food safety. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the role of the PDCAcycle in food safety quality management within the neurointensive care unit, examining the current management landscape, including its importance, existing isses, and potential risks. It elaborateson how the PDCA cycle contributes to enhancing food safety management, facilitates patient recovery, and improves hospital management efficiency. The study systematically details itsapplication process across the four phases of the PDCAcycle: plan,do,check, and act. This approach aims to ensure comprehensive food safety for neurocritical patients through continuous improvement measures, thereby layinga solid foundation for patient rehabilitation.
