Abstract: Cross-country sking is a winter endurance sport that demands extremely high physical fitness,and its unique athletic characteristics pose a chalenge toathletes’ nutritional support.This article systematicallyanalyzes the core sportscharacteristics ofcroscountryskiers,suchas extremelyhigh energyconsumptionanaerobicandaerobic mixed energy supply, high participation of whole body muscle groups,and chalenges in severe cold environments. A comprehensive nutritional demand framework covering macro nutrients,water electrolytes,and micronutrients is constructed,and specific and actionable dietary recommendations are proposed for diferent stages of daily training, pre competition, in competition,and post competition recovery,forming a full cycle nutritional support system.
