Abstract： In the Northeast Border Region， ethnic diversity and cultural differences have led to identity stratification and impeded communication in social governance. As an important carrier of social consensus， Chinese cultural identity plays a vital role in enhancing group synergy， consolidating psychological belonging and shaping shared values. Based on grassroots social practice， this paper analyzes the functions， current status and realization paths of Chinese cultural identity， and proposes practical approaches centered on consensus building， innovation of communication methods， system integration and cultural ecology maintenance， so as to provide operable cultural support for social governance in the Northeast Border Region.
