Abstract： Language and writing， as core communication tools， information carriers，and cultural symbols，are closely associated with the improvement of national quality， the inheritance of historical culture，economic and social progress，and ethnic unity. They also serve as an important support for forging a sense of community with a shared future for the Chinese nation. This paper takes the "I Teach My Mom to Speak Putonghua" training course launched by the Liuzhou Municipal Government of Guangxi in WY village in 2020 as the research object，exploring the practical value of language popularization initiatives in the development of ethnic minority areas. The research finds that the training course has effectively contributed to rural development， significantly promoted ethnic interaction， integration，and the construction of cultural identity， and further strengthened the sense of identity and belonging of the people in border rural areas to the community with a shared future for the Chinese nation， accelerating the process of social integration in WY village. Based on this， this paper proposes that in the future，it is necessary to further promote the coordinated development of ethnic education and economic and social development， deepen the popularization of Putonghua teaching and the cultivation of identity，so as to provide linguistic guarantee and support for the all-round progress of ethnic minority areas and the forging of a sense of community with a shared future for the Chinese nation.
