Abstract: Compared with traditional teaching models, the teaching model that integrates mathematical culture emphasizes that teachers must actively explore the humanistic value of mathematics during curriculum construction. This approach aims to break the limitations of the traditional classroom model that "prioritizes skills over humanities," thereby enhancing students' comprehensive literacy and cultural confidence. In light of the new era's practical demands for the comprehensive quality and cultural confidence of higher vocational students, traditional higher vocational mathematics courses focus excessively on skills training. This makes it difficult for teachers to realize the educational value of mathematics in the classroom.Consequently,this not only leads to a lack of humanistic depth in higher vocational mathematics classrooms but also curtails students' interest in learning mathematical culture. Based on this, this paper first analyzes the current status of higher vocational mathematics courses from the perspective of cultural confidence. On this foundation, it explores strategies for constructing a higher vocational mathematics curriculum empowered by mathematical culture,aiming to provide new ideas and practical references for the reform of higher vocational mathematics courses.
