Abstract： To address the issue of insufficient resources for early childhood life education，this study explores how to integrate excellent traditional Chinese culture into the creation of original picture books，and provides localized practical solutions for early childhood life education. Through literature analysis， this study sorts out the life education resources in traditional cultures such as Confucianism， Taoism， traditional Chinese medicine and ancient poetry. Based on the theories of children's cognitive development and picture book creation， it develops picture books such as Nianlun Shuo： The Story of Life Cycle with the theme of "life process. The works depict the natural process of birth，aging， sickness and death through the life stories of three generations，and adopt ancient-style painting techniques to integrate cultural symbols such as traditional costumes and hair ornaments with childlike styling. This practice confirms the effectiveness of the trinity model of "life education - traditional culture - picture book creation"，thus providing new ideas for developing life education courses with the characteristics of traditional culture.
