Analysis of Heavy Metal Contamination Sources in Young Children's Food and Its Prevention and Control Strategies

Abstract: To clarifythe currnt situation and causes of heavy metal contamination in youngchildren's food, this paper selected 240 samples of 6typesof young children's food and used multiple methods to detect the contentof5 heavy metals such as lead,cadmium and mercury. Combined with regional differences,the contamination sources including raw material enrichment,processng migration,and storage and transportationinfiltrationareanalyzed,and prevention and control measures such asraw material traceability,equipment upgrading and packaging optimization are proposed to provide technical support for the supervision of young children's food safety.
