Hazard Identification and Prevention and Control System Design for Foreign-Body Contamination in Sugar Processing

Abstract: To close the weak links in foreign-body contamination control along the entire sugar-processing chain and eliminatethelag inhazard identification,afarm-to-factoryrisk-profiling conceptof "sourcescreening-process monitoringproduct trace-back"is adopted.Near-infrared spectroscopyand machine vision are integrated into on-line dynamic monitoringtobuldareal-timehazard-identifcationsystem.Apreventionandcontrolsystemisdesignedaccordinglyaround precision cleaning,closed-loop control and aseptic protection.This system establishes full-chain hazard-identification modules covering raw-sugarquality testing, in-process monitoring and finished-product traceability.Validation in a commercial refinery raised foreign-body detection rate to 99.7% and cut contamination incidents by 82.3% . The system enables accurate identification andeficientcontrol of foreign-bodycontamination hazards in sugar processng,safeguards product quality and safety,and provides technical supportfor quality management in the sugar processing industry.
