Optimization of Urban Food Last-Mile Delivery Models in the Context ofFresh Produce E-Commerce

Abstract: The booming development of the digital economy and the upgrading of consumption structures have propelled fresh produce e- commerce to become a vital component of urban food supply chains.However,its lastmiledeliveryfacespersistentchallengessuchashighcosts,loweficiency,insufficientcoordination,andunstable experiences,due to the perishable nature of products,time-sensitive requirements,and high service expectations. This paperoutlines theevolutionary path of delivery models,focuses on structural contradictions,and proposes four optimization directions:optimizing the network layout of "front warehouses + instant delivery",enhancing intelligent schedulingand dynamic route planning,advancing multi-party green joint distribution,and building adata-driven personalized fulfilmentsystem,aimingatproviding theoreticalsupportand practical guidanceforindustrial quality improvement,efciency enhancement,and sustainable development.
