Abstract：The excesive use offood additives beyond theirapproved scope is acore isue in food safety supervision. Rapid identification technologyisanimportantsupportforthefront-endscreeningofregulatoryauthorities，and its applicationeficiencyaffects theaccuracyandtimelinessofsupervision.Currently，rapid identification technology has problemssuchas insuffcient coverage and poor adaptabilityinthescreening of theoveruseoffoodaditives，and its connection withthesupervision process ofregulatoryauthorities is notsmooth，whichrestricts theimprovementof supervisioneficiency.Thisarticle，combined withthe practical experienceof grassrootssupervision，systematically analyzes the application shortcomings of rapid identification technology in the screening of excessveuse and he regulatory mechanism loopholes behind them.Acollaborative solution for technological empowerment and regulatory qualityimprovement isproposed fromthree dimensionsof technological iterationandoptimization，regulatory system improvement，and government-enterprisecolaborative linkage，soas toprovide practical reference for regulatory authorities to build a solid defense line for food additive safety supervision.
