Abstract:Foodmicrobial contaminationisacentralchalenge to global public healthand food safety.Thisarticle examines microbial contamination across diferent stages of the food chain and develops a risk assessment framework composedofon-site investigation,laboratory testing,exposure estimation,quantitative modelingand risk categorization.Byanalyzing theapplicabilityand limitations of common control measures,including heat treatment,cold-chain management,cleaning and disinfection,and preservativeformulations in complex food products and real distribution environments,it proposes directions for optimization.The paper ofers practical technical guidance for regulatory authorities and food enterprises engaged in the management of microbial contamination risks in foods.
