Abstract：Withthe increasinglysevere heavyand inferior qualityofcrude oil and therapid expansion of ethylene production capacity，the diversification and heavying of ethylene feedstocks have become increasingly obvious，and the competition among ethylene plants has become fiercer.How to ensure the continued stable and high-load operation of ethylene compressor systems has become a topic of great concern at present.To achieve long-term stable operationof thecompressorsystem，it is necessary toanalyze thecauses ofscalingandcorosion inthecompreorsystem，and put forward corresponding solutions combined with the actual operation conditions of the plant and the requirements for long-term operation.These measures include process operation optimization，equipment modification and optimization，development of new-type compressorpolymerization inhibitionand corosion inhibitors，and maintenance optimization，aiming to solve the problems of scaling and corrosion in the compressor system.
