Abstract:A sensor for carbon dioxide detection was designed,and its related performance was tested.Based on this sensor,alarge-scale building securitysystem was built to achieve effective monitoring of the building's environmental safety.The results showed that the thermal conductivity sensor for carbon dioxide had a response time of 24 s and a recovery time of 15s.The output voltage for detecting diferent concentrations of carbon dioxide was proportional to the gas concentration,and itshowed almost noresponse toother organicvolatilegases,demonstrating excellntresponse performance,sensitivity,and selectivity.The building security system constructed on the basis of this sensor realized effective monitoringof the logistics environment.Users could log in tothe client terminal to view monitoring data in real time,delete data,and export historical data,basically meting the main requirements of a wireless monitoring systemin large-scale building environments.
