Abstract:To promote technological innovation,evaluate material performance,andguideconstructionpractice,the water-resistantbonding strengthof polystyrene boardadhesive mortarused in building infrastructureconstruction was tested.Thermal insulation mortar,anti-crack mortar,andadhesive mortar were prepared with water-to-cement ratios of  ,respectively. Test samples of groups A,B,and C were fabricated by bonding polystyrne boards (made from polystyrene resin and auxiliary materials)using diferent bonding methods.A universal testing machine was employed to measure changes in the bonding strength of each test sample under three environmental conditions:room temperature,long-term immersion,andrain-heatcycle.The testresultsshowed that group C samples,composed of polystyrene board,thermal insulation mortar,and adhesive mortar,maintained high bonding strength evenunder tensile loadafter long-term water immersion;under low tensile loadand long-term rain-heat cycles,the minimum bonding strength remained at 0.6MPa . In comparison with group C,group A(using onlypolystyrene board adhesive mortar)and group B(combining only thermal insulation mortar with adhesive mortar)exhibited slightly lower water-resistant bonding strength.
