Abstract:This paper focuses on the research of light component loss in the methanol-to-olefins (MTO)process.Experiments were carred out in afixed-bed catalytic reaction deviceusing high-puritymethanol as theraw material and SAPO -34 as the catalyst under controllable temperature,pressure and space velocity ,and the light components were monitored byGC-MS.Theresults show that the lossof lightcomponents is significantly affcted byreaction conditions,the design of reactorsandseparation-recovery devices,as well asoperation and management.The research indicates that byoptimizing processparameters,improving recovery devices and strengthening operation management,the lossof lightcomponentscanbe effectively reduced andthe olefin yield can be increased,which providesa basis for the optimization of the MTO process.
