Abstract:The efects of redox systems on the properties of anaerobic adhesives were investigated,mainly through experiments using diffrent types of initiators and accelerators.Various initiators and accelerators were incorporated into the anaerobic adhesives,and by testing the thermal storage stability,break torque,andpull-out torqueof theadhesives,cumene hydroperoxide was screened out as the optimal initiator and N -acetylphenylhydrazine as the optimal accelerator.Further studies on the properties of anaerobic adhesives with different dosages ofcumene hydroperoxide and N-acetylphenylhydrazine showed that the adhesive exhibited superior performance when the dosage of cumene hydroperoxidewas 2.5% and that of N-acetylphenylhydrazine was 3.0% :
