Abstract:A composite material based on epoxy resin(EP)and linear polyurethane(PU)was designed in this study.By introducing phosphorus-containing flexible chain intermediates,EP/linear PU composite materials with different linear PU contents were prepared,and their curing properties,thermodynamic properties,andmechanical properties were systematically investigated.Theresultsshowed that the addition of linear PUcould effctivelyimprove the comprehensive propertiesof EP.Among them,the composite material with a massratioofEP to linear PU of 25÷4 (i.e.,linear PU content of 16% )exhibited the optimal performance: its char residue rate at 800‰ (20号 reached 18.6% ,flexural strength reached 152 MPa,and impact strength reached 58.74kJ/m2, all of which were significantlybetter than thoseof pureEPmaterials.In practical application tests,the deformationrateof theequipment made of EP/linear PU-16% composite material in high-temperature environments was lower than 1.2% , which was far superior to that of ordinary polypropylene equipment,and the user experience score was also significantly improved.This research provides a feasible material solution for the development of high-performance aerobics equipment.
