Abstract:To address the problem that traditional catheters for pediatric anesthetic respiration tend to cause mechanical damage to children during intubation,surface modification of such catheters was proposed,and their antibacterial and lubricating properties as well as appication efects were characterized.The testresultsshowed thatthe prepared antibacterial respiratory catheters exhibited a bacteriostatic rate of over 99 % against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus,a friction coefficient stably below 0.1,a water contact angle of 35o ,and an L929 cell survival rate of 100% ,demonstrating excellent comprehensive performance.When applied in the clinical anesthesia of pediatric fiberoptic bronchoscopy,the antibacterial respiratorycatheters achieved successful intubation in32 caseson thefirst attemptand13 caseson the secondattmpt,with no third attempts or intubation failures reported.The incidence of adverse reactions was only 8.8% ,and the surgical process was not affected,indicating favorable clinical application outcomes.
