Research on staggered distance optimization of shallow buried bias small spacing tunnel face construction

Abstract:Whenthesmall spacing tunnel is in thecomplex terainconditionof shallow buried bias,thedeformationand stress superposition of the surrounding rock of the tunnel are seriously affcted by thesmall spacing between the left and right holes,and the construction safety hazards are multiplied.In order to reduce the superimposed influence caused by the excavation of the left and right holes,the appropriate construction stagger distance should beselected to controlthe deformation and stress of the surounding rock and ensurethe stabilityof the surrounding rock.Taking the tunnel entrance section of Yiliang section of Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway as theengineering background,FLAC3Dnumerical simulation is used tosimulate theinfluence of diffrentconstructionstagger distances ofleft and right tunnelfaces onthestabilityof surounding rock,andthe appropriateconstructionstagger distance of tunnel face isselected through comparativeanalysis.Theresults showthat the construction distanceof theleftand right tunnelfaceof theshallow buried biassmall clear distance tunnel inYiliang section should be kept at 50m or more. The research can provide reference value for the construction of this project.
