Research on the effect of salt spray corrosion aging on the out-of-plane impact and fatigue properties of adhesive joints

Abstract:The salt spray corosion aging resistance,cyclic fatigue and surface impact properties of two typical connection methods and two diferent epoxy adhesives Aand B(ourcompanyand foreign comparison samples) bonded joints with diferent substrates were studied.The effects of salt sprayaging,fatigue cycle and surface impact on the tensile shear strength of the same and diferent materials bonded byadhesive bonding and screw+adhesive bonding were studied.Theresults show thatthe bonding strength of epoxyadhesiveA toorganic glass is higher,and it is more suitableforthe bonding of organic glassthanB,which is beter than thatofBcontrastsample.The tensile strength of carbon fiber/carbon fiberis higher than thatof aluminumally/aluminum alloy hybrid connection test piece.After salt spray aging,out-of-plane impactand fatigue aging,the overall performance is relatively stable and does not decrease significantly.
