Modified design and performance optimization ofpermeable asphalt concrete materials

Abstract:With theacceleration of theglobal urbanization process,the extensiveuseof traditional permeable pavement has caused the imbalance of urban water cycle,frequent waterloging disasters,reduced groundwater depth, and intensified urban heatisland efect.Inthis context,permeable asphalt concrete has become an important technical way to allviate urban ecological contradictions due to its unique pore structure and water permeability.As a new material of porous media structure,porous media can be used to realize rapid infiltration and transportation of rainwater. It can not only effectively reduce surface runoff and reduce the risk of urban waterlogging,but also supplement groundwater resources and regulate microclimate environment,which is of great significance to the constructioof“sponge city".However,the material composition of asphalt concrete directly afects its mechanical properties,water permeabilityand durability.How tooptimize the material compositionand improve itscomprehensive performance under the premise of meeting the requirements of water permeabilityis the key problem to be solved urgently intheoretical researchand engineeringapplication.Inviewof this,this paper analyzes the material composition of permeable asphalt concrete,and puts forward corresponding performance optimization measures, aiming at promoting the sustainable development of permeable pavement materials and promoting the ecological transformation of urban construction.
