Application of hydrogel coating to improve venous catheter and combined predictive nursing

Abstract：Aiming atthe problem of poor antibacterial and lubricating properties of traditional medical catheters， anantibacterial and lubricating central venous catheter was prepared by forming a uniform hydrogelcoating on the surfaceof thecatheter.Firstly，theperformanceoftheantibacteriallubricatingcentral venous catheter wasanalyzed，andthenthecatheterwasusedinclinicalpracticetodeterminetheclinicalapplicationefectoftheantibacteriallubricatingcentral venouscatheter.Theresults showed thatthe friction coefficientof theantibacterial lubricating centralvenouscatheter wasstableat O.2 after1OO timesoflinearcyclefriction，andthe hydrogelcoating basically reached the swelling balance in about 3O min，and the swelling rate was controlled at about 12% .Theviabilityof L929 cells was about 89 % ，the hemolysis rate was less than 2% ，and the antibacterial rate of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was more than 98 % . Applying it to clinical practice can effectively reduce the incidence of catheter-related infection and PICC complications，and improve patient satisfaction.
