Research on modification and preparation of a solvent-free two-component polyurethaneadhesive forbasketball

Abstract：There are many problems in the use of traditional solvent-basedadhesives，among which the most prominent problems are the waste of resources caused by solvent volatilization and the environmental and safety problems caused by the release of volatile organic compounds.Inorder to solve these problems，people have been actively studying a variety of high solid content，non-toxic and solvent-free adhesives.These new adhesives do not produce volatile organic compounds during use，but also reducethe waste of resources and have greater environmental friendliness.In this study，a poly（propylene carbonate diol）（PPCD）solvent-free two-component polyurethane adhesive wassynthesized，modified and analyzed.The results showedthat the addition of PCD significantlyimproved the bonding properties of PPCD-PU adhesives，and PCD-DETA greatly improved the bonding properties.
