The Reconfiguring Effects of Digital Consumption on College Students' Health and Economy Under the Takeout Model

Abstract: This paper focuses on the impact of takeaways on the lifestyles of contemporary collge students in the digital economy era.Takingcollege students in Jinan as the survey object,the studycomprehensivelyutilizes cluster analysis andother methodsandtools,focusingonanalyzing thereconstructive efectof takeaways in the dimensions of health and economy. The results of the study show that in the health dimension, 18.4% of the high-frequency consumers have abnormal bodyfat and gastrointestinal problems,and more than half of the students have insuficient nutritional knowledge,and the clustering analysis shows that the health management shows“gradual change of knowledge and behavior",“unityofknowledgeandbehavior”,"inconsistencyofknowledgeandbehavior”and‘inconsistencyofbehavior". Cluster analysis shows that health management shows“gradual change in knowledge and behavior”,“unity inknowledge and behavior,and a significant disconnect between health awareness and behavior. In the economic dimension, 70.2% of students are price sensitive and rely on preferential activities, and 22.0% pursue quality upgrading during special periods (e.g. exam week), forming a dual-driven model of"rational consumption + scene quality”. Structural equation modeling verifies the inhibitory effect of rational consumption on non-essential expenditures (β=-0.29) and the promotional effect of quality preference on consumption upgrading (β=0.51) ). Based on the above findings,the following recommendations are proposed: promote the transparency of takeaway nutrition labels and the popularization of campus health courses; construct a dynamic pricing model and a“dual-track menu” to meet diversified needs and balance economic constraints and quality needs. This article provides empirical evidence for colegesand universities to formulate intervention strategies and platforms to optimize their services.
