Research on the Engineering Application of Phenol Ammonia Recovery-Biochemical Depth-Membrane Treatment - Evaporation Crystallization Process for Treating Semi-coke Wastewater

Abstract:Under theguidance of national policies,the scaleof thesemi-coke industryand the numberof related enterprises inXinjiang UygurAutonomousRegion (referrdtoasXinjiang)haverapidlyincreased.However,Xinjiangis extremelyshortof water,andhowtoachievezerodischargeofsemi-cokewastewaterhasbecomeanurgent environmental engineering technology problem thatneeds tobeovercome.The phenolammoniarecovery-biochemicaldeep-membrane treatment-evaporativecrystalizationprocessisadopted totreatthesemi-cokewastewaterofacertainenterprise,thereby achieving zero discharge.Thephenolammonia recoveryunit hasagoodtreatment efecton Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), ammonia nitrogen,total phenols,and oil,with a COD removal rate of 83.78% ,ammonia nitrogen removal rate of 98.10% , and total phenol removal rate of 95.02% .At the same time,the qualified crude phenol and liquid ammonia products are recovered.Thebiochemical depth unit hasagoodremoval efecton CODandammonianitrogen,withaCODremovalrate of 95.84% and an ammonia nitrogen removal rate of 98.9% .The water produced by the reuse water treatment unit can meet thestandardsfor industrialcirculating waterreplenishment.Afterevaporationand crystalization,thesystemcanachieve zero discharge of wastewater.
