Abstract：Rainwaterand sewage mixing can lead to untreated wastewaterbeing directlydischarged into nearby water bodies，causing waterqualitydeterioration.Taking theinvestigationprojectofrainwaterandsewagemixing inacertain streettown in Chongmingdistrict，Shanghai cityasanexample，thetechnicalroute，implementation process，andresults analysis methodsofrainwaterandsewagemixing investigationarefocused，theimpactofrainwaterandsewage mixingon waterenvironmentisexplored，andthetargeted governancesuggestionsareproposedbasedontheinvestigationresults， aiming toprovide sientific basisand practicalreference forimproving regional water environment qualityand promoting rainwater and sewage diversion transformation.
